Backups & Export

Keep your world safe and take it with you.

Automatic backups

Your server is automatically backed up every 6 hours while it's running. The most recent backup is always available on your dashboard under Backups.

Manual backup

Click Backup Now on your dashboard to create a backup immediately. This overwrites the previous backup, so there's always one backup at a time.

Restoring from backup

Click Restore to replace your current world with the backup. Your server will restart with the backed-up world. This is useful if something goes wrong — like an accidental TNT explosion or a bad world edit.

Exporting your world

Click Export to download your world as a .zip file. You'll get a download link that's valid for 7 days. Use this to:

Play the world in singleplayer
Move the world to another server
Keep a permanent copy after your server expires

Tip: Export your world before your session expires. After expiration, we'll email you a download link — you have 7 days to grab it. After that, your world is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
