How to Connect — Bedrock Edition

Works on Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android, and Windows 10/11.

  1. Open Minecraft (Bedrock Edition)
  2. Tap Play
  3. Go to the Servers tab
  4. Scroll down and tap Add Server
  5. Enter the Server Address (IP only, e.g. 123.45.67.89)
  6. Enter the Port separately (the number after the colon, e.g. 19132)
  7. Tap Save, then select your server and tap Join Server
Important: Bedrock splits the IP and port into two separate fields — don't paste the full ip:port into one field. Your Xbox Gamertag must be on the whitelist to join. Bedrock players are whitelisted differently than Java — see Adding Friends for how.
